4th of July

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July or July Fourth, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain.

Americans celebrate their country on this day with parades; the parades usually contain invited bands, military units, floats and guests. Fourth of July parades are usually televised so those who could not make it to the parade in person can still watch them. People watching these parade tend to have USA flags to wave and some would even dress up in different fancy dress costumes.
